First, Elohim is a Creator. Satan comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). Satan is a ‘murderer from the beginning’ (John 8:44).
Yes, Yahweh flooded the Earth, but that was to save mankind from the depravity of the flesh that was introduced by the fallen angels who cohabited with humans and created an evil race of Nephilim (Genesis 6). Their DNA was so corrupted that they grew to over 36 feet and consumed the entire land, then the people who live in it. Their every thought was evil (Genesis 6:5). Noah was the sole person who found grace with Yahweh (Genesis 6:6-8). If He did not save Noah, all of Creation would have perished.
SInce Yahweh is Love (1John 4:8) and since none are good, save the Father (Luke 18:19) – It is inconceivable that He would corrupt a germ that would indiscriminately strike down the humans He created. “God, that cannot lie” (Titus 1:2 – also, Numbers 23:19; 1Samuel 15:29; Hebrews 6:18; and Psalms 89:35) also means that He cannot contradict Himself (a lie is a contradiction) or His nature.
We know that Satan has corrupted the Earth and that he has dominion over it – Yahweh gave it to Adam and Adam lost it. when Yeshua was fasting in the wilderness, Satan tempted him by showing him all the kingdoms of the Earth and offering them to him . . . if he only bow to Satan. Satan says it was all ‘delivered to him’ (Luke 4:6). If he didn’t own them, Yeshua’s reply would have been different . . . something like, “you do not have that power”. It was only a temptation because it was true – and Yeshua knew it was true . . . he also knew the consequences of giving in to the temptation.
A physical and a spiritual battle is being fought. Not between Yahweh and His creation, but between Yahweh and the prince of the power of the air (Ephesians 2). We are the prize.
There are casualties in war, but if we are to stand on the field of battle and honor, we must call on a spiritual ally to support us. Satan has many allies in the world today.
Do you believe what Yahweh says about Himself or what Satan says about Yahweh? Do not attribute evil to Yahweh. That is a lie that the Devil wants you to believe
“. . . choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve . . . but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15)
